Chamomile roman is one of the safest essential oils available. Aside from being safe for babies and children, this oil may be highly effective in treating teething pains and toothaches when applied in a hot compress to the face. It may also offer relief of other common 'youthful' ailments such as basic digestive issues and jaundice.
Recommended Uses Chamomile roman is known to be analgesic, antispasmodic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-infectious. It may assist with arthritis, eczema, dermatitis, menstrual cramps, menopause, muscular spasms, psoriasis and scars. It can be used as a healing, calming and sedative oil. Emotionally, roman chamomile may assist with anxiety, depression, insomnia, nervousness and stress.

Scent Profile Chamomile roman is a middle note. It is fresh, sweet, warm, fruity and reminiscent of apples.
Blending Blends well with angelica, bergamot, cedarwood atlas, chamomile German, cistus absolute, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, helichrysum, juniper, lavender, lemon, mandarin, marjoram, neroli, oakmoss, orange, palmarosa, patchouli, rose, rosemary, sandalwood, spikenard, vetiver and ylang ylang.
Contraindications / Safety Avoid during 1st trimester of pregnancy. Safe and gentle enough for babies, but proper dilution (1% or less) is strongly recommended. Strongly scented, use sparingly.
