Camellia oil has been used to care for the hair, scalp, and skin for centuries. Not to be confused with camelina oil, which is from the cabbage family. Camellia oil can be safely used in most cosmetic applications for mature, damaged, dry skin. Used neat, it makes a superb facial oil and an excellent body massage oil when blended with sweet almond or apricot kernel oil. Camellia oil can also be used as a hair treatment to promote hair growth and strength.

- Recommended Uses
Camellia oil may protect the skin against the abuse of external environmental elements, reduce the appearance of mature skin, and give a nourished look to the complexion. It is easily absorbed, leaving the skin silky smooth without a greasy feel. Camellia has been used for centuries as a traditional hair conditioner and is also known to strengthen nails.
- Shelf Life & Storage
Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions. It is recommended that cold pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using. Keep oxygen out of the bottle and rebottle into smaller sizes as oil is used.
