Calendula Oil is an infused or macerated herbal oil that is widely known for its healing properties for slow healing wounds, bed sores, cuts and burns. It is astringent and has a tightening effect on the skin. It can be used on broken capillaries, varicose veins, bruises, and eczema. Calendula oil has traditional uses for healing babies bottoms, and can be used as a compress for chapped and dry skin.
For bruising and contusions, mix 50/50 with St. John s Wort Oil. Calendula Oil will make an excellent base for healing salves and ointments. The addition of Calendula CO2 extract and healing essential oils make this infused oil a powerful healer.
