Birch essential oil has a unique, fresh scent, which we often describe as a 'smoky bubblegum'. It often also has a hint of 'root beer' to it and is enjoyed by many. For centuries, humans have long known of the natural pain-relieving effects of Birch. This particular oil is often considered when making blends to promote hair growth, relieve aching muscles, soothe arthritic pain, and calm throbbing headaches.

- Scent Profile
Birch is a top note. It is sweet, reminiscent of rootbeer, medicinal, camphorous.
Blends well with basil ct methyl chavicol, cedarwood, lemon, orange, peppermint, rosemary, tea tree, wintergreen.
- Contraindications / Safety
Use sparingly, and highly diluted. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and do not use on babies or young children. Avoid on damaged or sensitive skin. Chemicals found in both Birch and Wintergreen are effective at relieving pain but can cause liver damage if not used in correct dilutions. If not used correctly, it can cause severe physical issues.
