Details

Angelica Root essential oil is antispasmodic, a digestive tonic, and calming to the nervous system. It is effective as a lymphatic detoxifier when used in massage for rheumatism, arthritis, fluid retention and cellulite. It helps with irregular menstruation, hormonal imbalance and cramps (with Clary Sage). Use for chronic bronchial asthma and cough. During convalescence Angelica helps rebuild the body as well as strengthening inner strength and stamina. It is grounding, balancing, is thought to connect us to our Higher Selves and the angelic realms.

The edible roots of the beautiful flowering Angelica archangelica biennial plant creates an earthy, herbaceous, woodsy essential oil. Along with helping to provide balance, Angelica root essential oil is also helpful in managing pain and inflammation, unwanted muscle spasms, and to help reduce unwanted bacterial, fungal, or viral activity. Try using Angelica root essential oil to support deep, restful sleep. This essential oil can boost the immune system and help with healthy lung activity, especially when one is experiencing congestion and difficulty breathing.
